April – May: Path to Youth Week
Join us for lift/squat rack demonstrations in our weightrooms during our youth night events, ice cream making, a Wibit obstacle challenge in the pool, Youth workshops, swim lessons, and after hour youth only access to our recreation centres!
May 1-7: Youth Week
The fun continues with youth events in our gymnasiums, weightrooms, pools, art spaces, and youth lounge!
May 8: Youth-a-Palooza
You do not want to miss this! On site at the North Delta Recreation Centre will be:
An arcade truck
A 3v3 basketball tournament
A BBQ
A job/volunteer fair
An Open Stage event
A Silent Dance Party!
The fun starts at 3:30pm and continues into the evening!
Attend programs during our Path to Youth Week and Youth Week to earn stamps on one of two Bingo Cards – complete a line on either or both to trade for Youth Week Swag!!

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group of committed teens (ages 13 - 19) who volunteer their time and energy in support of the George Mackie Library. TAG members act as a library representatives in North Delta’s teen community. Monthly meetings are a time to socialize and plan. Membership is a resume-booster and helps earn volunteer hours. Pick up an application form at George Mackie Library to fill out and return.

Are you interested in creating your own zine? Join us for a drop-in workshop where will explore our interests and imaginations as we make and fold our own zines. Paper, drawing, and crafting supplies provided. For ages 13-18.

Join us, and paint rocks, using Acrylic paints, in a fun group setting. Unleash your creativity, and turn a rock into an affirmation rock, flower, or your own unique design. All teens welcome, ages 12 – 18. All supplies and a snack included.

History is alive with magic! Travel back in time to 1862 when the Mexican army defeated the French army in the city of Puebla. Using a green screen, we will create a Cinco de Mayo poster with you as the star and print it for you to take home! Ages 13 – 18.

Join us for an afternoon of beaded messaging. Using the binary code alphabet, teens will have the opportunity to create their name (or a secret message) making a bracelet, necklace or wall design.

Are you a teen? Are you stressed out about school? Life? Anything? Book 15 minutes to come snuggle with a BC and Alberta Guide Dog ambassador. There will be 1-3 dogs in the room, and quiet space so that you can just chill and be surrounded by the presence of calm, loving dogs. For teens ages 13 to 18.

RYMP Youth are taking over the Richmond Cultural Centre Annex with a number of fun art activities to explore and create! Come for an open house social event filled with fun, food and art activation! Learn about the RYMP program and engage with local artists and art-focused organizations.
Celebrate Youth Week with colourful creativity! Grab chalk, team up with friends, and transform Aberdeen Neighbourhood Park plaza into vibrant masterpieces. Enjoy music, laughter, and artistic expression.
Round up your friends and head over to KPU Farm for the Spring Fling! Join us in making seed bombs, create nature art, and enjoy snacks, fresh air and fun times with friends.
