WorkSafeBC Grant Opportunity

WorkSafeBC, a sponsor of BC Youth Week, is happy to assist municipalities and non-profit organizations by providing up to $200 in funding for B.C. Youth Week activities and initiatives. To be eligible for consideration, your event must have a significant link to workplace health and safety.

Please consider how your activity or initiative can be held without an in-person event. There are lots of possibilities, including those that are web-based or social media driven. Please be creative and think of how you might engage youth in different ways!

If your event goes beyond the basic safety you normally would put in place for an activity or initiative and creatively raises awareness of workplace health and safety for youth, we want to hear from you! Please complete the sponsorship application and send it to by April 3. We will review all submissions, but only those that make a true workplace health and safety connection will be considered. Got a really great idea and are hoping for funding in excess of $200? Our limit is typically set at $200, but if you have an exceptional idea that pushes the boundaries, let us know and we’ll consider it!
